Fictional scene: The Last Frame, two people leaving an editing room at dawn. The provided screenplay is an original example; no film was shot.
Write
Save an editable script and a PDF reading copy. Confirm that scene headings, character names and dialogue survive export. The separate WriterSolo sample documents one actual browser export test.
Scout
Record location permission, access, noise, power and the intended date/time. A sun-position app is a planning aid; inspect obstructions and weather on location.
Plan
Make a three-shot list: room wide, photograph detail, doorway exit. Add lens/position, continuity notes, sound requirement and the person responsible. Keep a readable offline copy.
Capture
Before production, test the exact phone/app/OS, storage, power and microphone combination. Play back a sample file with picture and sound. Do not assume every phone supports every codec shown in the app’s advertising.
Deliver
Copy source media, confirm file count and playback, preserve a second copy, and export a review file with agreed dimensions/frame rate/audio. Record feedback against scene/take or timecode.
Your record
